Terms of Service

By using 5 Metre Scrum you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree with any part, please do not use the platform. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

You must be at least 16 years old to create a player profile. Users aged 16–17 require parental or guardian consent. Coaches, scouts and agents must be 18 or older to register.

All combine statistics, playing history, physical measurements and eligibility information you submit must be accurate and truthful. Submitting false combine data, falsifying passport eligibility, or impersonating another person is grounds for immediate account termination without refund.

You retain full ownership of all content you upload (photos, videos, statistics). By uploading, you grant 5 Metre Scrum a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your profile content to registered scouts and clubs for rugby recruitment purposes only. You may withdraw this licence at any time by deleting your account.

The Academy plan is free with no expiry. The First XV plan is £9/month or £86/year (saving 20%), billed via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew and can be cancelled at any time from your dashboard. Your profile reverts to the Academy plan at the end of the billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time, except within the 14-day money-back guarantee window.

You may not: scrape or bulk-download player data; use the platform for spam or unsolicited commercial contact; impersonate scouts, club officials or other users; use automated tools to create fake profiles; share account credentials; or use profile data for any purpose other than legitimate rugby recruitment.

5 Metre Scrum facilitates connections between players and clubs. We do not guarantee employment, professional contracts, trial invitations or scholarship placements. We are not liable for decisions made by clubs or scouts based on profile information. Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid by the user to 5 Metre Scrum in the preceding 12 months.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Your profile is removed from public search within 48 hours of deletion.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before the effective date. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
